Hi, i am going through fissures for the first time. Once i have showered my body convulses and shakes uncontrollaby, has anyone else had this thanks

I have never heard of that happening from a fissure. How long have you had a fissure? Unless it's been there for a long time, it's not chronic, it's acute and that is a good thing.
Fissure June 2014 - Oct 2020
Botox, skin tag removed - Feb 2015
Levator Ani Sep 2014 - Feb 2016 (left job, cured!)
LIS, skin tags removed - Oct 2020
Fissure 100% healed - Nov 2020
Still healed as of April 2024

I also get uncontrollable convulsions. My body is pretty achy the next day. It's mostly my legs. I think it's caused by a mixture of pain and fear of what pain is coming. Too much stress on the body and mind. You're not alone.

Yes, it’s the pain and anxiety. It always happens to me when I re open the fissure. Pure fear.
fissure after hem banding and tag removal feb 11
Pelvic floor therapy
Diltiazem
Botox June 13
Nitro
Internal flap July 14
EUA and polyps removed Nov 14
Diagnosed with neuropathy Jan 15
Diagnosed with HS EDS type 3 (causes poor wound healing )
