ok i'm back already. it took just under 2 hours for the whole procedure, upper GI and small bowel. the chalky stuff was so nasty and there was soooo much of it but i kept it down and it flowed thru right on schedule for them to get all the pics they needed. as soon as i got home, 20 min ago it all came out. plain white diahhrea!! it was so weird! i'm gonna drink a ton of water today, but hopefully most of it's already out of my system. i can call for results in about a week. fingers crossed til then :)

Now you don't have to worry about being constipated. I think my son had to drink a similar substance for his "small bowel follow through," which is what I think you had. I forgot that he had that test two times within the last couple of years.

i just wanted some tests to rule out any possible reasons why this wound hasn't healed for almost 2 years. i'm most worried about crohns, since i've heard that can be associated with unhealing anal wounds.

Juney,
If you haven't lost weight, have a good iron count, aren't tired, and don't have diarrhea or a stomach ache, I doubt that you have Crohn's. I have to get reading the book by the guy who supposedly healed himself of Crohn's.

Hi Image Juney,
Glad you made it through the nasty tasting stuff. Hope you have great results.
Hi Image Jen,
Sorry I'm a little slow on a response, we've been traveling lately and it is hard to get to a computer. Hope you don't need the jolly ranchers any time soon.
I am feeling better, no more spasms. Still have bleeding from the hemmie surgery, don't think that will ever go away, hoping I am wrong but I may just have to live with that, usually not much discomfort . My scar surgery has been over 3 weeks and I am wearing the silicone sheets. Not sure if that is going to work though, I am calling my dr today and probably will schedule the steroid injections soon cause it feels like the keloid is going to be coming back.
Your baby :adorable: sounds darling! Maybe someday you will forget the age of your fissure cause you won't have anymore!! Image
How are you doing?
Jo
