if anybody I am a "preppie" girl , but believe me, if ass fairy would come tonight and say "Fissy - you will be free of pain forever but you will fart " - I would take it in a split of a second !!! Other fact is that when sphincter is relaxed - you can not hear a fart - it goes out silent ! It has no resistance so it does not make any noise. I know that for a fact since it was like that when I just had a LIS. Gas did not go out without a control, but when I would let it go it would be as silent and a mouse !!! You know that we have a second sphincter that is making our anus - right ? That one is under our control and it greatly helps regulating pooping and gas evacuation. Also, there are all kind of supplements and products that block gas formation or turn it in small bubbles. I know how worried you are - we all were before the LIS. Of course it is worrisome
!!! I just know that it is very VERY unlikely that you will have bad side effects and that your CRS is first class - I wish any of mine would be that positive and sure in what they are doing - it would help me mentally to cope with it all much ,much better than leaving everything "up to me" to decide of what to do or not All will be fine Jen - never forget that chronic fissure can make one incontinent over time anyway
If I would change anything - it would be that I would have it after 12 weeks when it was first offered and maybe that I would go with other CRS !Mirror - nay - it will not bring you bad luck

I like you! It is good that you clear up things.
My fissure is also 6 o'clock and it is actually only 10 % of all fissures . 90% are on 12 o'clock (toward the spine ). I think that women have more incidence of 6 o'clock since their pelvic area is weakened by childbirth : (. Thanks for asking us all about our present status - my fissure is closed on the surface but is there. I know it is there since I feel a pinch during BM on that place and because my skin tags are inflamed : (. Not a humongous deal , but enough to make me nervous and uncomfortable and worried if this is ever going to stop : ( !?! I have colonoscopy tomorrow and I will have diarrhea for the whole evening and I hope my fissure will not hurt too much. Thank you for describing us your manometry test , I am sure many will be happy to her that it is not unbearably uncomfortable ! Did he tell you the exact number of tightness? What unit they use to describe it , kilo-ponds or something? ; )))
and wish I can do something more - I wish I have extra money to send you as a gift so you can have that surgery tomorrow
Why only people who are stingy are rich ??? Or maybe one has to be stingy to be rich
