Normal people don't look at their butts, this is true! They look at other people's butts!!
I am so glad you are better, Jen, where have you been? I am glad you can stop worrying about drops of blood here and there because from time to time over the next six months or so, you are just gonna have it!
Just make sure you get your protein when you turn Veggie, and you'll be OK.

Thanks guys -
No, Corsi, I am not completely healed. I have no pain, but the blood is a reminder that all down there is fragile and that I still am healing.
I love you guys!

That is super news! I am happy to hear that you are doing so well and proud that the little blood didn't make you panic. That is wonderful!!!!

I do make meat for my family and I just eat something different. I always have beans, tofu and veggies for dinner so I have my routine down fine. I am such a meatphobe though-I wear gloves when I handle it.

You've given a lot of people hope today, thank you so much!!! Image

Hi Jen,
I am so happy to hear you are doing better. I think of you often and know you are busy with school and family.
I know I feel things are fragile also, but better. Guess we always need to be careful and try not to fall back into some unhealthy ways! Think we can cheat once in awhile though. Image
Keep in touch!
Love,
Jo

I think we should never forget this...my CRS said that one would be fragile down there forever.
Maybe you LISers are wider and maybe you aren't as fragile as those who heal without surgery??
I guess we have to stay healthy and eat veggies forever like Kim and Happy :)

I wanted to ask you if you ever used the Benefiber and how you think it is different from the Metamucil?

Jen,
I am still using the Benefiber and increasing it gradually. I am only up to 5/8 teaspoon once a day, but hope to start taking more in a few days. I still take Metamucil in the afternoon. Metamucil is touted as having other health benefits as well. I am not sure how the two react similarly or differently as I take both in the same day. I am glad that you have improved your attitude with less worry. I'll be with you in spirit as you travel to Hawaii. I loved every minute there. We were way up high in our motel in Honolulu, so we had a great view. Good luck also with your studies!!
