jackknife position?

was everyone who had LIS and other stuff always in a jack knife position?
they wheel you in to the OR. was everyone asked to get on their tummies and lay that way? or did anyone get these procedures done while on their back?
i suppose they could flip you over once you get knocked out.

I honestly don't know when they did my LIS, they knocked me out.

For the hemmoroidectomy last august I was on my side.

BTW, Gareth, I am back at work and it's not quite two weeks...

For my LIS i was on my back when they knocked me out, but they told me they would lie me on my side and sling my leg up...
I had some bruising on my thighs the next day Image
