I have two questions:
1. What strength of Nifedipine have you been prescribed? .1, .2, .3. .5?
2. Have anyone who has taken Nifedipine experience any symptoms?

I got .2%.

I did not experience any symptoms. No headaches, but also not really much relaxation and healing.

My Nefedipine is 0.2%. I have only been using it since 6/17/07. So I guess i haven't given it enough time. I have had 2 setbacks since I have started. I have no side effects from it unlike what I have heard about that Nitro cream an what it does.

I got ,2% nitro too. That also did not much for me unless I applied enough to give myself a massive headache.

I have .2% as well.
After several days of using it, I had my worst setback in two months -- I was constipated, had a hard BM, and bled a lot. Not sure if that was related to the Nif. Other than that, no side effects.
Overall, I feel like I've improved in the last 2 weeks since starting the Nifedipine...however, I'm not sure how much of that is due to the Nif and how much is due to other changes I've made (most notably, taking flax oil supplements).

I have never heard of it being prescribed except as .2%...

Steve, there is no reason to believe the nefedipine could cause a hard BM or a setback..if anything, it softened the blow by making you less tight as you passed it...

Stay on that nefedipine unless you really are sure it is causing some problem. Even if it doesn't heal you, it will help a lot...
I quit using it and *really* got worse, or should I say, back to square one. Ouch! When I resumed, things got better again. Not perfect, but far more manageable!
And keep telling yourself you *will* lick this thing, because indeed you will...
