Hello to all :)
Just wanted to throw out an observation about healing........
My fissure has been slowly healing since June. I would like to take all the credit since I have been trying to eat better, drink more water, etc. Truthfully I don't think I would have the success I am having without this website and all the great folks who post on it. The Dr. Wheatgrass Skin Recovery cream I bought online still proves to be unbelievably soothing and healing.
But last weekend, I went to the doctor for a nasty sinus infection I could not shake. Every couple of years I get a sinus infection I cannot shake, usually forcing to go on antibiotics (in my case amoxicillin sp). I took my last (10 day) pill today. It may be just a coincidence, but I feel I have healed more this past week than the slow healing I have experienced since June..........what I am wondering, since the unpleasant, vulnerable location of fissures makes them slow to heal, could they get infected too? I am wondering if the antibiotics have played a role in this past weeks extra healing time.......the blood is almost down to a tiny amount (during bm) and the pain is way way less this week..........just an observation.........................just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same when taking antibiotics (albeit for a completely different reason). It may be just coincidental, but I will take anything at this point!! Anyone who has any comments or similar situations please advise!! Thanks and hope everyone is having a great summer!!
