Has anyone discovered LAVA BUNS?

Postby suzyljank » 28 Aug 2009, 21:06

I just bought this cushion usually used for sporting events. It has this plastic liner you heat in the microwave and then insert it back in the cushion. It's nice and warm and I use it to help relax the butt muscles. It's great. You can take it anywhere with you and it doesn't cost much. The cushion is called LAVA BUNS, I know it sounds silly but it's better than a heating pad and you don't have to worry about burning yourself. When you have an uncomfortable bm it really helps relax everything down there. Just thought I'd share. Suzy

That looks awesome. I use something similar when my costochondritis (inflammation of the chest area near the sternum) flares up and it helps a lot. Mine is just a gelly-filled bag that I can either freeze or microwave for cold or heat therapy though. Those Lava Buns look to be aroud $25 USD and look for suitable for TV watching than sitz baths :)

Hi, I live in the midwest and bought the Lava Buns at a Meijers Store. You can also get them online. The thing I like about them is that once you heat the liner in the microwave the Lava Buns stay warm for hours.
