10 days post LIS

Pain free no bleeding 10 days out. It is a pleasure not to be hurting. The pain post op was trivial compared to the pain of the fissure and even minor discomfort was gone in a week. For those of you out there suffering who have tried medical therapy unsuccessfully, I would recommend finding an experienced CRS and discuss having the LIS done. My surgeon also removed the fissure and I would talk to your surgeon about that option as well. Good luck!

Great to hear bob! How soon did you get back to regular activities? I have a ski vacation 3.5 weeks after my surgery this wednesday and I want to make sure I will be ready to go.

Rusty - If all goes well you should be good to ski. I was in the gym 10 days out. Hope you have an easy recovery - there is a very good chance you will be feeling much better soon. Keep in touch.
