Does the anusol applicator have smaller attachment end than Prep H? I went to a different compounding pharmacy today and was able to get empty 50g aluminum tubes, but my Prep H attachment that looks similar to the anusol one is way too big. I assumed that they were the same size and that I could just use what I had.

Yes, my anusol applicator is smaller than the Prep H one. I must have just lucked out by thinking of it when I first started using the ointment. I was given a much longer applicator with the diliatzem ointment that fits the ointment tube, but the end of it is not completely rounded (it's open), and I would say it is twice as long as the anusol applicator I use. Why do the pharmacies/pharmacists have to make things so difficult for us?????? I'll ask my pharm student son about that one!!
