Nursing took place for me several years ago--my son is now in his 30's!!!! I think I did it for a couple of months--2-3 as I recall. How long do you plan to nurse? I would think you could lie on your side and nurse. Whatever works!

I haven't set any deadlines for breastfeeding yet. I've been at it for 7 weeks so far. I figure as long as it's going well and she's getting enough milk, I will stay with it. I plan on going back to work sometime in 1-2 months, so if I want to stay with it I probably need to start pumping a supply. I don't know how that's going to go, so we will see.

What type of work do you do? I used to use the pump, and it worked very well for me!!

I'm a teacher! I think it will work ok... the only thing I'm concerned about is that I will only have one break time during the day when I can pump. I'm just not sure how that will be since the daytime is usually when she eats the most. I might be pretty uncomfortable for a while.
