Does anyone with a fissure have any problems eating eggs? I really miss my egg/cheese omlet cooked in garlic oil. The garlic oil may sound a little weird with eggs, but it is soooooooo good.
Stay away from fried food if you can. AND ESPECIALLY the CHEESE part LMAO !!!! I would give you a go it you make an omelet with a lot of veggies in it . First fry some onion, peppers, mushrooms, and asparagus on the olive oil and than "fold in" the fluffed up eggs. You may add a fresh garlic toward the end and will get full benefit of a garlic taste and it's health properties. Bon appetit : ))
What a bummer I have been in the mood for an egg and cheese omlet. Darn it.....I get sooooooooooooo jealous watching my hubby eat whatever he wants while I sit here with the same blah boring foods.
I agree with Fissy, keep away from the fried stuff and definitely cheese, btw cheese was the hardest thing for me to give up, I thrived on a wide variety of cheeses and loved cheese on toast with black pepper.. Stick with wholemeal foods, soups and plenty of water if you want your fissure to remain manageable.
