hey m 20yrs old...
have been suffering from hypospadias since birth....
i had just visited a doctor for the same and have been told that i suffer from a fistula opening on my shaft...
the doctor has adviced me to go for a surgery... :'(
when i looked at a fistula surgery video online i am so shocked and scared as the procedure is horrible...
I am really worried about the look of my penis after the surgery as it involves tearing the whole organ and then stitching it....
has any1 gone 4 d same surgery...??? i really am worried about the look after the surgery... does it look all bruised..
does it look normal like everybody...???
plzzz do help me... m really tensed.... :'(

Sorry to hear about your problem.
I haven't had this operation. but have had an operation 'down there' and like you made the mistake of looking at pictures (in my case),
But don't forget that things heal and bruises go.
If you believe you have a good specialist (Urologist I assume) and ask him how often he does this type of operation, that would be a good start. He can tell you more about the answers to your questions than most people.
I just saw this website which has some stories by people who may be in a similar position, I think, though I haven't read much of it.

By the way, from my experience I would recommend not delaying it if your doctor is good and recommends it. I made that mistake and it would have been better if I hadn't.

I had my operation when I was about 48 or 49, and I was in hospital for two or three nights.
Everything went ok, though I should have had it some time before.
In a way I found the waiting for the op worse than the recovery because of imagining things. It's better if possible to keep your mind off it, or distract yourself (not always easy to do).
Anal Fissure is like a small cut or tear usually just inside the anus (often happens by hard stool). Very painful because it is often difficult to heal, and they can last for years if you're unlucky, and get worse/bigger/deeper etc.
This forum has loads of useful info and advice about them, and much better descriptions than mine.
