Oh, that's a good one - almost could be a whole new thread!
I don't know if it's my "favorite", but it is "a favorite", by Marianne Williamson.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Do you have a favorite tv/radio program that you religiously watch/listen to?

Oh wow- there are a lot. I am a TV junkie and always have been, especially reality TV. Right now it would be Survivor I think. Watching a lot of TV has been the best part of recovering from my LIS!
What person/s has influenced you the most in your life and why?

I have to say my parents, although it's such an obvious answer... they were very different from each other, and both gave me traits that I consider myself very lucky to have. They believed in the basic goodness of people and the value of kindness and laughter and a love of nature.

I liked the question about the favorite quote... Does anyone else have a favorite quote or saying?

Ok- this one came to mind right away and I had to google it. It actually is from the movie "The Bucket List"- a funny one and rather apropos:
"As you get older, Never pass up a bathroom, never waste a hard-on, and never trust a angel gas"
So since mine is actually a "movie line", what are your favorite 3 movie lines?

Punk Fiction - that was a good one! :)
I don't really have a favorite Lord of the Rings scene... I did read The Hobbit when I was a teenager, and the images of the shire that it put in my head are so strong, they can't be replaced by the movies images! I think that the images of the Shire and Gollum are the strongest....
Did you read a book as a teenager that you still remember today? What was it?

Yes. In my very late teens I read Jack Kerouac On The Road. I was about to hitchhike with a friend around parts of Europe and wanted to get "into the notion".
What is your favourite magazine that you read without fail every month, if you have one? If not, what is your favourite chocolate filling!!

Mmmm, I occassionally buy Oprah magazine here, as a treat. It's imported, and costs around $15.
Now the real question - Where's Cheryl?? I hope she is ok. Maybe golfing?

I hav also been wondering where Cheryl is? I have been looking through old posts in case she said she was going away, but can't find anything. She would want us to go on with the games, so....
Yes, Bumbutt, that was me, and it still lingers in my restless heart.
Question. What are your favourite flowers?
