Touch wood!

Postby Downthere » 05 Apr 2011, 09:45

Now more that a week has passed without neither blood nor pain during BM, so I'm getting bold and beginning to think that some healing really is getting under way.
But of course I'm gonna stick to my "holy Trinity", Sitzbaths 1-2 a day (followed by hairdryer-drying), diltiazem 1-2 a day (after BM) and Movicol 1-2 a day - for another couple or weeks if I ever dare try to get off it!
Cause the devil might be back before you know, I know ... Image
Good luck to all of you.

Diltiazem makes the area really numb and at ease so it could be because of that. The real test is to see if you have no pain and no blood once you've stopped taking all the ointments.
I for example never had any issues with blood, there was just a large tear all of a sudden.
I wish you the best, keep faith and do what you think is right. I've have it for 8 months now and luckily it's ten times better now as it was months ago. Im currently not doing anything to it and pain is less each month.
