Re-tears?

Postby ss616 » 13 Apr 2011, 11:34

Folks,
For me, Colace seems to do the opposite of softening stool, I have no idea why. I'm switching to Miralax for sure...
With that, I had a BM this morning that resulted in blood. Does this surely mean the AF is now re-tearing and the healing process needs to start anew? It's been two weeks and I was good in the last 4 days of no blood...
I think my problem is that I can't keep my stool "wet" or soft enough on Colace... I'm hoping Miralax comes to my rescue. I'm drinking TONS of water, 1 gallon plus.

For me atleast pain and discomfort after a BM has been the most consistent indicator rather than blood.
Pain during I would say is also more significant than blood.
