Here is a neat site for golf accessories. I discovered this line while on my recent vacation: http://www.gloveit.com/ While my son was busy practicing, I was inside the pro shop shopping!!
I think Trump is arrogant, but I did hear one commentator on the radio say that if people are seriously considering him as a candidate, that just shows how poor the candidate pool is! He might do better than others are currently doing in running things!!
What is your opinion of Charlie Sheen (the former star of the TV program "Two and a half Men"?

I like Charlie sheen, he's funny and reminds me of his dad, but right now I think he's an idiot!
What is your favorite childrens story?

Charlie Sheen for president! He can run against Trump :)
Elphie - I'm glad that your peonies survived the snow. Ottawa is a beautiful city. I live just outside Toronto - but the way that city is growing, I'll be living in Toronto very soon.
My favourite children's book is A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle
What's your favourite time of year?

Hey, yes, Charlie Sheen vs. Donald Trump! I know it's odd, but I feel sorry for Charlie. I don't know if he has an underlying mental issue, or has simply screwed up his brain by taking so many illegal drugs. He does have acting talent. I watched his show while we were in Florida, and it is pretty funny!! At any rate, there are obviously children involved with his situation. Feel sorry for them also. And I guess there is an alternative name for polygamy--call your "wives/gf's" goddesses!!
I like summer time because I can GOLF, but winter in Florida was delightful!!
Do you try any of the available products for the face--wrinkle creams, lotions, and the other endless products that are advertised everywhere?

I have so many creams for my butt I haven't bothered with my face for awhile!
I LOVE a Wrinkle in Time! My 8 yr old has read my copy, I still like reading fantasy books of all kinds.
Trump vs Charlie would b quite the show! I'm sure they could take it on the road!
Do you like long car trips (pre- fissure) and do you prefer to drive or be the passenger?

I love fantasy and scifi books too ... well, any kind of book, really. I also liked A Swiftly Tilting Planet when I was a kid. Now I like John Scalzi (I just finished The Ghost Brigades)
I actully think Charlie Sheen has caused brain damage from long term substance abuse. Paranioa, delusional thinking, etc. are particular symptoms of long-term cocaine abuse, if I'm not mistaken.
I love long road trips (pre-fissure) - I prefer to be a passenger because I like to look at everything as we drive along - and because I'm a nervous driver. If there's no traffic, then I enjoy driving.
Have you ever read a book that made you laugh out loud?
(I keep thinking about books!)

Gregory Maguire books all make me laugh( wicked), Harry Potter ( yes I've read them several times), but the one that made me laugh the most was The White Dragon by Anne Mcaffrey....it's an oldie but if you've read Pern, you know it's a goodie.
Have you read The Hunger Games? I highly recommend them even tho they're for teens.
Is there a song that gets u up to dance everytime you hear it?

I love the song "Smooth" by Santana and Rob Thomas. I just groove to that - but pretty much any Motown song will get me up and jumping around too ... Wilson Pickett gets me going every time (Mustang Sally, baby!). Of course, I only dance when no one is watching because I have two left feet :)
This is a great place to find good reading material! Thanks for the recommendations. I will definitely get more books now. I'm also developing an appreciation for golf (and I love Florida in the winter too - but, that's probably true of all shivering Canadians!)
Who do you think is a better actress - Bette Davis or Katherine Hepburn?

I think that they are both good actresses, but I guess I would have to go with Kate.
Do you think actors and actresses are of a different genre? They seem to be in a totally different world than the rest of us, and I don't just mean about the money aspect of their reality.

I definitely think that actors/actresses live in a different world - probably all famous people do. They are surrounded by people who promote particular self-images, snd so they rarely have to deal with other people's opinions of them and modify their behaviour to adapt to other people's needs. I guess that's why I'm always impressed by actors like George Clooney - he doesn't take himself very seriously and he cares abou the world he lives in. Hmmm ... long answer!
If you could be any animal (other than human) what would it be?
