Yes, I bbq in summer. But I'm Aussie so it's kind of compulsory. I don't make anything special really, though always willing to try new marinades for the meat.
Do you dream in black and white or colour?

A. I'm not sure - but I think I dream in colour. I don't remember my dreams a lot (I think it depends on waking from REM sleep) - but I think I 'dream' in thoughts more than images: and not quite words, sounds, smells or sensations either - but touches of most of those.
I guess I see or feel colour images in my dreams because it might be noteworthy if they were monochrome. I have full colour vision (and have never tried LSD!).
My dreams seem more a sort of free-wheeling set of thoughts along a theme - often it seems as if my brain is sort of running around a theme of what I have recently been thinking about, and/or what is important to me - perhaps hardening the synaptic paths?
Q: What is happening in the local wildlife in your location now?

Well, here in eastern Ontario I have foxes running along the train tracks behind my house at dawn and dusk everyday, the killdeer also have their ground nests in the corn field across from my house but unfortunately they haven't plowed or planted it yet so any day now... Tons of birds and bumblebees and the skunks r around too! We also have wild turkeys popping up everywhere.
Here in the small town where I live every summer we have a dairyfest, the nearest city, Ottawa, has the tulip festival, does your town or city have a yearly festival for anything in particular?

I've never heard of a killdeer before! Just read all about it on wiki - what a funny little bird with its 'injured wing' trick. Reminds me of a cat we used to have called George who learnt that having a sore paw gets you a lot of attention. After his paw had healed, he would still sit at our back (glass) door and hold it up pitifully and look at you with sad eyes to be let inside. As soon as you opened the door, he would happily run in, full pressure on the 'hurt' paw and take his place on the lounge, purring with glee. Never ceased to amuse us.
Anyway, I digress. Every year in summer we have a festival called the Sydney Festival (we're very creative with names here - the Sydney Harbour Bridge crosses Sydney Harbour, our opera house is called...wait for it...the Sydney Opera House!) which runs all summer and is filled with events all throughout the city including open air cinema screenings, free concerts in the park, dance shows, art displays, food markets, theatre performances, and lots of stuff for kids and families. The range of things to do seems to get bigger each year and it really adds to the fun summer atmosphere in the city.
Do you prefer green or red apples?

When I was pregnant, green. But my favorite are gala apples which are mostly red but mottled with yellow. They r crisp and sweet and have a thin skin.
O I would love to come to Australia someday! Back in my younger days I kept reptiles for pets and it was my dream to go on a reptile search in Australia! And I would love to see the famous Sydney harbor!
What do you think about still being here today after the end of the world yesterday? That woulda been a real pisser since I just got my butt fixed!

Hmmm...the end of the world. 89 year old guy cons people out of their money and now says it's actually October he meant. Quite silly. So, I never worried about it for a fraction of a second. Hard to believe that people can be taken in by such charlatans. And sad too.
What is your favourite make of chocolate?

At the moment Whittaker's coz they have a large range of dark choc options to which they haven't added milk (I've a milk protein allergy so it's hard to find nice milk-free options).
What's the most "unusual" animal you've ever encountered in the wild?

Oooohh! I love it. I have come across lions and elephants in the wild, as I used to live in South Africa, but the most unusual has been a snake under my chair on a dinner date in another part of Africa, years ago. Very frightening.
What does your favourite sunset look like?

Ooooooo yes! African wildlife is so awesome! Em - I hope it wasn't a mamba snake! I saw rock dassies on table mountain. They are such cute little things it's hard to believe they are related to elephants :) i saw so many wonderful animals - lions, leopards, cheetahs, all kinds of antelope. Oh I miss it!
keeping with the theme ... My favourite sunset was in the Kalahari - camelthorn trees sillouetted against a vast burnt orange sky, stretched out along flaming red sand with soft purple shadows. So lovely!
What was the silliest thing you've ever done?
