I wear golfing hats (visors). And also have to wear one to be part of our "Red Hat" group. Hats used to be in vogue (a few decades ago), and I really enjoyed wearing them then.
Do you usually apply sunscreen, or do you like to tan?
BTW, the change one letter game has gotten too complicated for me. I don't really understand the new "rules."

I'm pasty pale and rarely get outdoors anymore except on the rare occasion when I make it up to the mountains to snowboard (used to be every weekend during winter but now it's maybe 1-2 times a year). So definitely no sunscreen for me ... I guess that makes me "tan" but without the actual tan hahaha.
To add to the nature/weather topic: what's the biggest earthquake you've been in? If you've never been in an earthquake, then would you rather be in one or would you rather be in a hurricane? Ok kind of a macabre question, I know, but you guys got me thinking about it! Image

I've never been in an earthquake, but I have been in a hurricane. I was 11 at the time and in Hawaii. I distinctly remember sitting in our hotel room watching the trees (palms??) bend over like rubber and debris fly everywhere while the building swayed back and forth. I'm not sure which I'd prefer to be in....I think it depends on the severity of them both.
Are you a tea or coffee drinker? Or both? Or (and I can't believe there are people like this out there) neither??

I drink coffee. It has been so difficult for me to cut back on it as everywhere there is anything about AF, it's no caffeine
So my coffee is watered down skim milk, a dash of light cream, an eighth of a cup of coffee and hot water. The unappetizing sound of it is made up for by the lovely place I sit and drink it, down by our local river.
Have you ever seen something that you could not explain to yourself? Something ghostly!

No, I have never seen anything like that, but my late BIL was part of a "ghost" group and claimed that he could "sense" the deceased at funerals.
Would you consider having plastic surgery?

I would not, because I'm 5'8", 120 lbs soaking wet, wear thick glasses, am tatooed from head to toe, don't work out, am the world's biggest pessimist, and sit in an office all day while popping Vitamin D supplements to make up for my lack of exposure to sunshine. So there's no plastic surgery in the world that can make me a looker :) Oh ya, and I'm married, so I can look as fugly as I want, forgot that part lol!
Alright here's a weird one: what are your thoughts on Tupac Shakur? (FWIW I LOVE the guy, know every single one of his songs, and feel that he's a truly talented and introspective artist who gets an undeserved bad rap from the media, but he's definitely a polarizing figure and I can understand folks who don't care for him.)
And a substitute question for those who don't know Tupac, think it's a lame question, or simply don't want to poo poo on one of my icons :): if you could spend a day as a celebrity, which one would it be? And what would you do during that day?

Hey Cheryl, the rules are the same, we just seem to have acquired more words (last time I looked there were 2). So basically, for each word, just change one letter (and rearrange the letters in the word if you want), e.g.
1. post > lost
2. lamb > ball
Hope that helps a bit and we'll see you back over there!! Image

Not happy,
Thanks for the explanation! BTW my husband and I were scheduled to be in OZ and NZ for one whole month and had to cancel because of my butt issues (several years ago). Still disappointed that we couldn't go, but there was no way I could take such a long plane ride with a thrombosed hemroid. This was prior to my fissure which came about a year later. Now my husband has health issues and is fearful to make such a long trip away from the U.S. Image
NG,
Unfamiliar with your favorite person  . I cannot think of any celebrity (movie star) I'd like to be. I think they believe they live by different rules, and they aren't any different from us, just have more $$$. I think I would be a female golf pro for a bit--maybe Michelle Wie.
What do you spend money on to the point of extravagence?

Oh dear! I spend money on French face and body creams and lotions, and bath stuff. I have used the same company for years, and cannot imagine changing, much as it is expensive. So, I suppose that is to the point of extravagance. But, I am happy with that.
If you have to travel on a long flight, which airline do you prefer above all others?

I like Lufthansa for Europe and Singapore Air for Asia if we're talking comfort, service, and timeliness. But in practice, I tend to go for what's cheap, so that often ends up being KLM, Cathay Pacific, China Air, etc.
If you could stay at a certain age forever, what age would it be and why?
