If I could choose, I would go for 26. So many exciting things happened. Travelled through India and took time to do it. Went on travelling, round the world and eventually back to South Africa. Had a rewarding job, my family were close, the sea, mountains, wine and friends were all there and enjoyed. Life was filled with excitement and I felt part of a whole, totally fulfilled. So, that is the age I would like
to have stayed.
Did you ever fly on Concorde? If not, do you wish you had? And again, if not, how do you imagine it would have been to fly at supersonic speed?

I never flew on Concorde, would have loved to, I entered a contest once to win a seat on one of the last flights but didn't win. :(
If you could time travel to a place in history, where/when would you go?

I'm personally fascinated by Abe Lincoln, but the Civil War era might have been depressing. I think I would go back to the 50's. Everything was quite a bit simpler back then (even though the internet was not yet invented by Al Gore!).
Do you think there are too many walks for charitable causes?

Do you think drug testing before receiving welfare is reasonable?
My state is doing this now. I personally agree with it....

I do think it's reasonable -- if the government is giving you free money and benefits, they should have the right to make sure you aren't spending it on drugs. Goodness knows there are enough people out there who can't afford dinner for their children but can somehow afford crack rocks every day.
One exception here for me: marijuana. IMO (and obviously IMO only since I'm a huge unashamed California hippy) it's such a total joke that marijuana is even considered an illegal drug that I would oppose drug testing for marijuana under pretty much all circumstances except for when driving, flying a plane, performing a surgery, etc (basically anything where being drunk wouldn't be a hot idea either).
One other caveat: I also don't feel that drug testing -- whether it be for employment or welfare -- is really all that effective. Most people stay clean long enough for the drugs to leave their system, then start using again as soon as the tests are over. Also there are tons of masking agents that can be used, and many cheaper tests are not designed to pick them up. The most effective drug testing IMO is random testing (commonly used in construction industries for example), and even then, there are still ways to cheat. Overall I think the concept makes sense, but there are way too many ways to game the system in practice.
Have you ever fantasized about dropping everything, packing up a backpack, and just leaving your entire life behind? Realistically, do you think you would ever do it? Why or why not?

What is your opinion of the verdict for the disgraced Illinois former governor (Blago)?

NG, I have thought about it at times, but I never would because I couldn't leave my kids/ family. I made some big changes when I was in my early 30's that have made my life so much better. I kind of did leave something behind and started a whole new life....
Cheryl,
I am embarrassed to say I have no idea what's going on with the Blago right now? I spend most of my days watching i-carly and Hannah Montana until my husband comes home and watches Finding Big Foot, Pawn Stars or Dual Survivor. I could probably tell you how to start a fire in a survival situation or what water is unsafe to drink....LOL!!
Hopefully NG or someone else will have an opinion!:)
Have you ever felt like you were dealing with a sociopath in real life?
