Im Jay. Just want to drop a quick line to introduce myself and my problem.
I had my daughter last year and it was a forcep birth with 30 stitiches inside alone. I ended up having infection after infection, which the meds caused me to suffer with constipation. so i didnt end up going to the toliet for about 2 weeks.
It took the doctors 6 months to figure out i had a anal fissure and by this time it became alot worse than it was!! NHS for you tho!
Finally i got somewhere and the doctor refered me to 'private' the first operation i had they cleared the wound out and that didnt work.
I had the advancement flap operation 2 weeks ago..
a Question for those who have had it.....How long did it take for the pain to stop after/and with BM??? dont get me wrong its not as pain full.....But i am a very private person and only let close people know what is going on (execpt on here ;p) im back at work next week....and need to try and cover the pain up :s

I didn't have this procedure. I only had LIS and a skin tag removed which took about 6 weeks to fully heal.
There are a few old post where this procedure was done. I will try and look for them. I believe there was a woman in here recently with username callmecrazy and I think someone named elfkin- I believe... I also think there's a real old one by the name kerrbear?!
