Don't worry! I have had clots since the beginning and 5 months later i get them every few days! My crs said he was not concerned about them. Its changes in colour of your stools and the colour of the blood. Red is good as it is a fresh wound (the fissure) Hope I have reassured you?
Take care :D

Ah x No Problem! I got my own issue today lol...Oh the joys of having an AF...... Image
Have you never seen a Doc? Its better to go and get checked out and u will feel so much more reassurred!!
Don't be frightened by the blood. As the bm passes down and out it rubs against the fissure and thats the bleeding you are seeing. DON'T WORRY.... Image

It can also be a symptom of ulcerative colitis - best to see a doctor asap just to rule out anything. But, dont panic in the meantime, it's more likely to be as Andrea says.

Thank You SO MUCH for your input!! I'm still bleeding & just so scared of "THE C" word---Farrah Faucet comes to mind---I have a 27 yr history of anal issues with surgeries. I went to a CRS 2 yrs ago to the day ( 8/6/09) SO ROUGH I KNOW he ripped me more---So painul---He put me on Diltiam (?) & it healed ---When symptoms started (bleeding 7/25) I started with baths & Diltiam--Felt better till another bleed on 8/1---Yeterday I was convinced I was CURED!! 3 PAIN FREE BLOOD FREE bm's--The BEST day ever--I was CURED!! This morning more blood than EVER!! Still bleeding! I'm so scared but I know I must see a CRS asap---

Ok--I will---Let me ask this---The BM that I had this morning that cause pain & bleeding--still bleeding-- has been pain free all day---After the initial pain this morning I've really been fine except scared with blood all day---Has anyone had a pain free day after a traumatic morning BM?-- I'm wondering could it possibly be a hemmroid that exploded?? I have lower abdominal pain- around belly button but no butt pain---I am dreading tomorrows BM though-- Thanks for your compassion!!
