Well guys, it's almost here. I will be up less then 12 hours perparing for my surgery. I am really nervous. But I just want to thank all of you who viewed my post. But a very special thanks to the specail caring people that replied. Thank you so much guys!! Well wish me good luck tomrow. And I will repost an update on here soon!!

Although this is probably the same ole same ole, please don't be scared. It's not that bad! I postponed this surgery for months and months because I wasn't willing to gamble at being one of the 3% incontinent people. It will be fine -- wishing you all the best!

Don't forget to take your stool softeners with the pain meds and drink plenty of water!

Yay, Dustin! Soon you will be healing and getting better instead of dealing with pain and an evil fissure! Don't worry about the surgery - it'll be a breeze! :D

I'll be thinking of you to Dustin! I would hate if my teenager had to go through this pain and I can certainly relate....I have my surgery in 6 days, so hopefully I can read how well your doing so I can get encouragement from you!!!

I am new to the forum and I had my surgery last Tuesday
This forum has been a great help for me (before & after surgery)
All I can say is that you wont regret it at all!
and as Dawn says: stool softeners+water+pain meds and it wil be just fine
