I've read on some other AF related pages that witch hazel can be a good method of "curing" a fissure. After searching around I finally found some, but was disappointed to find that it was a liquid and not a cream, and also that it contains alcohol. Does anyone have any experience using this product? Results?
Ooo not sure about using Witch Hazel When I was abroad I burnt my shoulders once, and the chemist told me to use that to "help" take out the sting? Hurt like hell and never again. And, it never helped either.
Yeah, I have been trying Witch Hazel and I find it hurts afterwords with a burn and sometimes a stabbing pain if there is a fresh tear. I wouldn't use it with regularity on an active painful fissure, but if you are healing it might be worth a little burn and pain if it has any type of healing affect on the skin.
