Question on pain

Postby Jojo1 » 24 Oct 2011, 02:25

Question
Why so much pain out of tub?
I am soaking after movement now with bit of discomfort qnd eting, but I notice thst once I stand up the pain is greater and within twenty minutes it's extremely painful to be upright standing or sitting for several hours.
Why the difference? I figured blood flow and gravity increase ressure in that area inflamed after bm, but wouldn't that still be in tge water?
The level of pain while in the water is tolerable. I could andle dealing with this trying to heal period if that was tge worst of it. Just curious.

The pain gets worse because the sphincter comes back out of it's relaxed (in the water) state, blood flow to the area can only help things, it's the lack of blood flow that hinders the healing process because the sphincter is in spasm
