My girlfriend and mum both think surgery, because they jst want me to be pain free again. I think I'm going to give the botox a try though.
Good luck for tomorow! I hope they give u the botox even if its looking healed, it may jst allow u to heal that final bit more. I Look forward to hearing how u get on

Hey Andy and Jenny. Well have had the botox and not too bad, just some minor discomfort and aching. The hospital I was at was very good, they were really caring and somewhat restored my faith in the NHS. The CRS told me there is a 70-80% success rate with the botox, warned me of risks/infection and made me fully aware that it may not reduce the pain/heal the fissures. Yes thats right I have two! Both superficial though, and like a scratch he said. But he said they have a good success rate there, and was very honest. I have a follow-up appointment in 8 weeks so hopefully will be able to enjoy christmas!
