Another one bites the dust!

Hey everyone!
I've been a long time lurker of these forums but figured I'd sign up an say hi!
I won't bore you all with the details but Im 22 have a fissure 2 years now! Image
It is really really painful gonna go sort this thing out and am hoping to be healed by 2012 Summer (hopefully the world won't end :))

hi dom, welcome (sadly of cos!)
Do you have a fissure-caring regime already? Planning to go for LIS yet?
We all have been thru the pain or is still undergoing it. If you like to see some tips on healing, get some ideas, u can search for a thread "my success story"
update us your progress :)

Hi Dom,
sorry for your pain!!! Glad u have a positive attitude, I think it does help. I too am trying to remain positive!! I hope I am healed by Summer 2012 also, I am opting for surgery b/c I have been dealing with this way too long, 3 yrs. and know it is chronic. So off I go to CRS for consult on Thursday.,good luck with the healing!!

Thanks for all the info and Thanks for reading! I found the thread you mentioned and had a read over it. I'm defiantly going to be changing up my regime. Currently I am drinking prune juice, eating soup a lot and using a fiber supplement. Its unfortunately not been working :(
As for my plan of action! I read a lot of stories on here and I noticed a few people even disappeared from the forum a while after surgery ( I imagine they are healed now and forgot ) So I have decided to go for LIS but I do want to see what a CRS has to say so I am going to schedule an appointment Thursday if possible.
I really hope your all healing up! Or at the least pain free! :D
