So yesterday I talked to the crs office and they officially told me my lis would be scheduled on the 20th of this month. I know so close to Christmas I hope I can have a joyful one. But I should be in joy knowing after the 20th my road to a normal life has started.
Everyone on here kept me sane through this ordeal. From the tippers to the mood lifters of this forum, you guys are all wonderful.

Congrats on your schedule date!!! I am scheduled for 1/9/12 and can't wait to start the New Year with a bang. I am so relieved that this is hopefully almost over. My only fear is my first BM post op.

Congrats! I just had my surgery on Tuesday. I won't lie, I'm a little uncomfortable (but I had LIS + works done), but I would suggest that you will enjoy Christmas a whole lot more with post-op discomfort, rather than suffering through the season with fissure spasms!
I could have had surgery last week, but pushed it for holiday. I would have enjoyed Thanksgiving a whole lot more with how I feel now vs how miserable I was last week.
