I canceled my appointment with my GI and just went straight to a CRS to take a look at me. Best case, the GI was right and it's just scar tissue and the pain that comes with that. Worst case, I have a fistula and it gets taken care of, right?
Thanks for giving me the courage to seek out another CSR..now if I can just stop worrying about the horror stories I've seen while googling.

don't worry too much first, i understand how u feel. let the crs check out first before worrying...

Hey Jenbug! Good for you! That takes a lot of courage - hat's off to you :D You're right that the worst case is a fistula that can be taken care of. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's just scar tissue, though. Please put those horrible stories right out of your mind. Many of us here had fistulas and fistulotomies and we are doing really well. Google is helpful sometimes, but there is also a lot of misinformation out there. Please keep us posted - and good luck! :D
