Haven't posted in months as ive been pain free.
I have been taking movicol and recently dropped it to one A day.
The painless Bms continued. Well iforgot to take it for 2 days, and damn my bm was sore.
I dont know if it was a re tear. I hope not but I haven't had pain for 3 months and it still is sore when I miss the sachets.
Will the tear ever heal? Maybe I should start lathering it in aloe again :(

But sucks that it isn't all the way healed.
I read that it takes a year for the skin to just reach 80% of it's original strength.
I think when you have been on stool softeners for so long, your anus is used to being smaller, so you have to really take your time returning to a 'normal' diet.
So I wouldn't be in a rush if I was you. IMO
