Pregnancy and fissure healing

Postby rugbybaby » 01 Mar 2012, 16:27

I am looking for advise or experience with being pregnant while trying to heal a fissure. We want to have one more baby, and my clock is a tick tick ticking. Birthing a 9.5 pound baby is what initially sent me to fissure hell, so I am really torn (no pun intended). Image
The delivery would be a c-section, so no issue with pushing. But the pregnancy, added weight, pressure and lack of fissure medication is the problem.
Thanks for any feedback!

Another thing that can be an issue - if you plan on breastfeeding it is hard to drink enough liquids sometimes to keep from getting constipated.

Hi,
Are you still getting the botox this month?
I don't think I'd want to be pregnant with an active fissure personally.
I would think fissure meds would be redundant when you are pregnant. I mean they bring extra blood to the area, but so will being pregnant...
It's true though when they say, there's no perfect time to have a baby.
