Thank you for this forum. I have been able to read honest and accurate accounts of what it is like to have the fissure and to have the surgery. It has scared me at times to read how painful post surgery is, but it also has given me hope that it does heal with time and proper diet . I was in such pain before surgery, and post surgery was a pain in the butt but not as bad as pre surgery. Thank you again!
