Over a week ago i got my first anal fissure, self diagnosis after searching on the internet why i was bleeding and having god awful pains while having bm.
Found this forum and learned so much about treatments, diet ect.. so after reading tons & tons i decided on my treatment plan.
I got myself some milk of magnesia to make sure things are soft, i take it once a day. This more or less made things painless for me.
After reading about the different types of creams and things people on the forum were using i wanted to go the more natural way, castor oil.
I've used it for lots of different things in the past and found it brilliant for healing.
Ok, run down of what i'm basically doing since i got this little fecker.
When having bm i use lots of vaseline to create a barrier, helps so much.
I use wipes not toilet paper, i find they help soothe the skin.
Now here is when i use the castor oil - after every bathroom visit whether it's bm or not i apply castor oil directly onto the fissure/anal area. A drop or two is all you need.
I've been pain free since doing all this and things look like they are healing.
