is that a good thing???????, its a bit uncomfortable, however is that a sign of healing...i am still bleeding and its not getting better, doing the whole sitz bath thing, really taking a toll on my regular daily activities.

Have you had it checked? What I thought was a skin tag was actually a sentinel pile which is more with a chronic fissure. If it is a chronic fissure, then you will have a much more difficult time healing without more agressive measures like surgery. In Sept. I went to have the "skin tag" removed and the dr. found another big fissure and did another fissurectomy. I had one in April as well. I wish to heck I would have just gone when things first started. Anyway, I think the difference is that skin tags can be uncomfortable, but usually are more just an annoyance. If it is hurting, it is probably because of a fissure. Feel better.
