looks like im on my own :(

i finally got referal to gi specialist, but they cant see me until july 31st!!
i told them i will be dead by then lol
now i dont know what to do!
i started miralax this morning.i already eat soft foods, so hopefully it wont mess me up.
i dont know what else to do.
i have been eating lentil veggie soup for a main corse for last three days. been having two bm's everyday in mornings, but today i had three (ouch!) . they are pretty soft though most times.
metamucil was great for a week and gave me awesome farting power, but then got bulky stool after a week even with lots of water.
im hopeing that the miralax will keep it soft and maybe more will come out in morning instead of going twice every morning before 10 am.
if i could get it where i only went once a day and it were soft then i might have a chance.
im reall scared now. my only hope was seeing the gi doc and now my appointment isnt until end of july.
the weird thing is that i have had the most pain this week and yet no more blood even on toilet paper. what does that mean??? i would think there would be blood since im haveing the most pain now.

Sounds a lot like what I'm dealing with pain wise...I have no answer for it but I feel your pain! Gotta love the knife/glass feeling!! (Total sarcasm) Did u try to call around for a dr that could see you sooner? The surgeon that's doing my surgery tomorrow didn't have anything for months but the amazing nurse at my gastro office called them and MADE them fit me in! Hopefully they have a cancellation or can fit u in somewhere sooner then July!!

keep us posted on your post op!
and dont forget to tell the nurse a funny joke when she tells you to count backwards from ten and gives you the gas lol they never expect a joke while your passing out from the gas.

My best advice would be to just try and live until then. Don't let it completely consume you.
It also sounds like your overdoing it. Going to the bathroom too much is also a bad thing. Your stool needs to be the consistency of soft mud. If its looser then that your just causing a lot of pressure.
Miralax is a godsend. Avoid metamucil. I take one full 17g dose of miralax with supper and it works wonders.
