kyrehe Bless your hart dear, so much problems with the fissure.
I had yeast infection also after having a reaction to the nitro I actually had a blister in the area, the itching can be as bad as the pain and spams, or a mix of all.
If you still think you have a yeast the sitz bath can make it worst so be careful .
Perhaps taking some probotics will help with the yeast, I like to take Kefir is like drinking yogur.
My CRS also in my later discussion about surgery said he will not touch the skin tag, he said it was just skin.
Again so sorry you have so much trouble and side effects from the fissures.
It seems you are soo irritated from the fissures, treatment and creams, beside the yeast, on Cauterization means burning so is understandable that the skin be red and tender.
The discharge you have, keep an eye on to make sure you don't develop an infection, you should call your doctor if you are not comfortable with that.
My prayers and well wishes are with you.

@Dan from what I've read, a skin tag will only stop a fissure healing without some form of treatment; as in Nitro, LIS, Botox, etc. I'm on Nitro.
Don't quote me on this though as I have read a LOT of things recently :)

I've had LIS and used nitro for two seperate 8 week periods, so the skin tag is probably irrelevant. I'm at that point where I start thinking every little thing could be the reason it won't heal. I'm gonna bug my CRS about it some more though because if removing the tag did help to heal it would be a nice simple fix. I can only hope!

Sorry I'm so late answering. My eight year anniversary was yesterday and I was sick for all of it. Couldn't leave the toilet :/
@Dan, I haven't mentioned anything about the skin tag stuff to my doc, since she's only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays or something weird. And other than that, it's already been removed, so there isn't much choice in the matter, now :[
@Suzy, It's cream I had to put on last time to keep from getting an infection. If it's for burns, I guess that makes sense since the skin there was cauterized. I will have to look up more on it, because if that's what's causing the itching, I can't even imagine what I'm supposed to do.. (Granted, the itching does happen even when there is NOTHING on my bum..)
@Marg, Thanks much for the wishes. I will be careful with sitz baths, I usually hang out for about 20 mins, then take a full shower. I just did this, and I feel decent.
The pain now is kind of sharp, and specifically in two places. I'll have to take a look down there later and see how angry it looks.. I just feel like I keep doing something wrong.. I'm doing as much as I can to make sure that my digestion is well*, and that it's dry, and still healing, but it never seems to fully work. Granted, it's only been ten days since the cauterizing, so maybe I should just wait a little longer.
Should I be concerned about use of Lidocaine? I use it every time before a BM because it's so incredibly painful. (No matter how soft or hard, sorry to be so detailed.) It just feels like my bum is about to catch fire and fall off, while I feel like I'm so lightheaded I could pass out. The pain subsides about 30 minutes after each BM, but I seriously dread having to use the bathroom..
* = My digestion is already screwed, due to a mix of IBS, allergies, and Gastroparesis.
