Baneol cleanser

Postby Vin » 13 Mar 2013, 16:01

Hello folks, I learned of Baneol cleanser while pouring over past topics on this site. I have been really pleased with it and reccomend it as part of your routine. It is specifically for use on anus and vaginal areas for men and women. It has significantly reduced itching for me which is huge as AF sufferers are concerned. I use it in the shower and on wet wipes for general cleaning throughout the day. It seems to be half lotion half cleanser. It is not cheap but a bottle will last a while available on Amazon if not at your local pharmacy. If you find it works for you chime back in so the topic stays fresh (no pun intended) and hopefully helps another person. Lastly thank you to the person who mentioned it I don't know who you are.

I'm having a hard time keeping the site from my surgery clean. Its all bumpy down there and its right in the path of any BMs. Is Baleol indicated for this kind of purpose?

Baneol is great despite its cost. I wish I had started using it sooner. I use the bottle at home and have some of the small foil packets for when I'm on the go. I also highly recommend Calmoseptine ointment. It's messy but very soothing.

I would expect it would be ideal for you.

I ran out to buy it. Such is the pain I'm in. (Actually, the fact that I can "run" or at least walk fast, to go buy it is a testament to the fact that I am healing, but my pain level hasn't dropped at all.)
It is very soothing. So far, so good. If this helps me turn a corner, you are getting some serious brownie points from me.

I bought the balneol when my fissure was so bad that I could not clean properly because the pain.
Sadly due to my problems with sensitive skin it caused me to get irritated.
I can not even use regular soaps and anything with scents when it comes to my private areas.
Now my daughter love it and she use it regularly.

I used it again with success. Its not going to resolve this, but it is very soothing and every little bit helps. I hope I don't develop a sensitivity to it. Weird that they include fragrance in this kind of product, since so many people react poorly to that.
It is also insanely expensive! 18 bucks for this tiny little bottle.

Yes, very expensive Amazon.com has it at a much better price for 2 bottles and if you are a prime member it ships for no additional cost. I paid 15.50 for a 3 oz bottle at my local pharmacy. So far it has been a worthwhile experiment for me also, I wondered the same thing about the fragrance since so many of us would be sensitive to that. So far so good. I will purchase from Amazon next.
