Like being squeezed up the butt.

Postby S.Bensley » 17 Mar 2013, 19:37

Hi, been circling this website and finally decided to join. I've had a fissure for a while. I've tried the creams and had LIS but still having trouble. I get a feeling of being punched or squeezed up the butt once in a while, having a bm or using heat seems to help it but what is that feeling. Is it from the fissure? Oh forgot to say I was diagnosed with stenosis recently, could that be the problem. This thing really screws up your life. I never thought I'd be afraid to use the bathroom, can't believe it's come to this. Fingers crossed there's light at the end of this tunnel. Savannah

It could just be that the nerves need more time to calm down after your surgery and after having had a fissure.
I read of other people on here that had the same unexplained random pains years after surgery and their crs even saw that the fissure and lis cut was completely healed.

Been 3 1/2 years since my LIS and I still get random pains (either squeezed feeling or a quick shooting pain)..I've found the more I would dwell on it, the worse it became..I just look at it as part of my life now.
so, I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't worry about it! It's obviously normal after having the muscle cut there.
