Florastor!

Postby sgtsparky » 24 May 2013, 23:04

Anybody else try Florastor? Its a yeast based probiotic. I've read a lot of good reviews from people with IBS and related ailments. I've been trying it for a few days and its really seemed to regulate and get rid of that acidic burning kind of movement that is so irritating to the af even post surgery. Thought I would share and would like to hear other people's experiences.

I tried it (before the surgery).. didn't help at all. And I am still puzzled at that. I remember ordering it online and when it didn't work, was so tempted to send the package back, because they had money back/satisfaction guaranteed policy.
I think when a fissure gets chronic, nothing helps ! Or maybe, it helps only people with IBS.....?? Not sure !

I think it depends on your expectation in terms of what you're hoping to accomplish. Given that everyone's own personal ecology is so different it can take a lot of experimenting with probiotics to find strains that work well with your own system. It's also not necessarily a change you see happen very quickly.
Over the years of trying many many different strains of probiotics and noting the effects of each, my two favorites for my system are Florastor and Culturelle.
