Advice on applying nifedipine at work?

Postby Darkeyes » 08 Aug 2013, 20:34

I have been using nifedipine or nitro internally twice a day for the past three months. I have no problem applying it at home by laying on my side on my bed and using a mirror that I prop up. My new CRS wants me to use it three times a day which means I will need to apply it during work. Any suggestions for how to position myself in the work bathroom? It is a single person bathroom so I have plenty of privacy. I would rather not lay on the floor but that might be the best solution.
The good news is that my fissure symptoms suddenly got a lot better last week so I am hoping I may heal without Botox.
Thanks for the help!

I use a standing mirror with adjustable angle. Place it on the closed toilet, then I bend over, look back, and just put my finger up there. Maybe you should look for such a mirror?

Thanks JHH! We don't have closed toilets (there is no lid) at work but maybe I can figure out something similar. The adjustable mirror idea is great!
