Thanks everyone for your replies. I sleep on my side, with a pillow padding my knees. However, I can't allow myself to sleep through "signals" because I have a j-pouch (no colon) and if I sleep more than three or four hours I have accidents.
There are times, however, I get more than a signal . . . I actually awaken from a hard spasm and pain. Unfortunately I have more than just AF, I have strictures at the anastomosis (where my ileum is re-attached to my sphincter) that also cause spasms. I grow scar tissue like prize roses . . . and more surgery just means more scar tissue. So round and round I go . . .
I was just wondering if others get woke up too . . . and now I know I am not alone.
