Hi just wondering if anybody uses instillagel before a BM and if so how long did you do it for. Been using it for a week now and love it as I don't have any pain. Even when it wears off. No spasm as well which I am over the moon about.
Thanks

yes i was prescribed instillagel - it's very helpful. been using it for about three months.
i've also been trying aloe vera gel which is great stuff too. seems to be particularly helpful in reducing swollen skin tag.

Oh so it can get used for longer terms that's great. It is a bit of a life saver. I will need to get the aloe Vera gel. Just wondering do you put the aloe gel inside before ?

i've not been putting the aloe vera up inside - just kind of smearing it around externally. i think probably the instillagel is better for that. my instillagel comes in a kind plastic syringe specially for the purpose, plus i think instillagel is a lubricant plus some kind of antiseptic so is good for the job!
my main problem at the minute is sore and swollen skin tag which tends to be larger and more prominent after bm. aloe vera seems to be great for this. not sure what would happen if used inside like the instillagel!

Right I think I'll need to get some. My skin tags have been ok in the past week or so. Which is so good as I swear the grow each day. Finally got a appointment in to go and see a specialist in a few weeks. So will see what they say but until then instillagel is definitely the way to go for now. This no pain is amazing as trying to watch a 6 month old with a sore behind isn't good at all.
