no blood - still painful

Postby owowow » 22 Sep 2013, 08:56

i seem to have reached a new "stage" in my ongoing fissure fight

i've had no blood for a couple of weeks now - which is great:) also no spasms and little or no pain from sitting, stretching, sneezing, bending etc. all great news!

but bms are still very painful.

the previous occassions when i have manged to heal fissures the pain tends to disappear a week or so after the bleeding stops. but it this time it barely seems to be decreasing at all.

has anyone else experienced this?

also my friendly skin tag seems to be bigger than ever and is tender to touch at the base. i'm wondering if it could be the skin tag causing most of the discomfort now?

Hi don't have the problem with the no bleeding but still pain. But my skin tags I feel cause most of the after pain as well and have swollen so much it was 2 days of pain. So I do think that they can be a problem. Don't have a clue how to fix it and if you find out let me know. As it's a pain in the ass!!

Well, the skin tag outside is just an indicator of the suffering within. I've been told they decrease as the AF heals but mine is still large as a deflated grape after weeks and months of healing naturally (no surgery yet). The pain is important. Both to manage/control and also as a sign of healing. Some of the pain comes from the sphincter muscle contracting after the anus is used. Helped by a sitz bath or warm/hot bath and also ointments that relax and increase blood flow (nifedipine or ditilazem). Keep going with diet, water and other measures.....best of luck! :sunny:
