Wondergirl, It takes time I too had that set back, if you go to some of my post's, I'm fully healed with the odd hemmie attack, no big deal, as my Doc says the eating for health is for life now, I love to cook so it fine by me.

I had those upsetting setbacks that scared the sh-t :poop: out of me literally .lol. But I know now it's just that a set back, and you too will come to the point of complete healing, we all heal at different times..so patients and keep up your routine, ointment, fibre and the like.

Glad to hear you are doing well Please go-away! :huggies: Thanks for the encouraging words. This week has been full of ups and downs. Things were flared up towards the beginning of the week, then calmed down, and for some reason today flared up again. I've had some burning last night and today with a little pink tinge on the wet wipe. Was so worried this morning's BM would cause bring the return of the knife pain but it didn't return. Just a little stinging.

Tomorrow I will use my last refill on the Nitro. My GI says I can then start weaning myself off. I'm a little scared to start cutting back but at the same time curious if the spasms will return at all. One jar of Nitro lasts me about a month. He didn't give me any real instructions on exactly how to cut back. Should I start going to once a day right away? Or should I rotate twice a day then the next day once and day? Any suggestions?
