Blood; No Pain

Postby vdb324 » 31 Oct 2013, 20:54

I am about 22 days post-Botox and tag removal. I have no muscle spasms anymore, PTL! However, I did notice that I have been bleeding, starting a few days ago, after BMs, but still without much pain, other than when I go the bathroom. Has anyone experienced this? I was hoping the muscle spasms going away and the pain after the BM, that it meant that I was getting better. The blood, however, signals otherwise. I am really hoping that it is something else, like my tag removal site, but I don't feel entirely confident in that. My BMs are very soft - 6 to 7 and I have been going twice a day (one more time a day than I used to), and I am cutting back on Miralax to a half cup in the morning and 3/4 in the evening to help get closer to a 5. I am still using nifidepine lidocaine, as well. The tag removal site still seems sore when I try to wipe well.

Anyone have a similar experience with bleeding, but no pain from the fissure?

I had tag removal as well, pain levels are so low, but I bleed with ever bm - convinced its from the removal or my surgical wound or perhaps the fissure --- I take bleeding over pain any day though!

Yes, we sure have vdb324

This is very common and typical. While your fissures are healing it seems
the scar tissue can get aggravated by our wiping and or bm passing
over the wound.

That's why wiping and using regular toilet paper is a no no as you'd be better
off using wet wipes or just dabbing with wet TP if your out and about.
At home after a bm you'd be better off just hopping in the shower and using
the shower head to clean the area and dabbing it dry.

So, the wiping definitely could have triggered your bleeding along with just
having a bm. But you should be fine with the less pain and spasm being an
excellent sign that your going in the right direction.

Keep up the good work vdb324; may the healing continue....

Thanks.

I am trying to remain hopeful that it is healing. I have had some of the most blood ever since getting the AF, but no pain. I am crossing my fingers that it is two small internal hemorrhoids causing the bleeding. This was what they initially thought my bleeding was from before the CRS diagnosed my AF. He said that the pain was too significant to be coming from the small internal hemorrhoids. I guess I will find out in two weeks. If the blood is harmless, as it seems to be with hemorrhoids and AFs, I will take that over AF pain!

Still bleeding, some pokes and twinges and blood with bm - some prickly poke feeling. Zero pain, no spasms, no tightness, no soreness. It's almost like a scratchy not itchy feeling. Like a slight twinge/ poke.
