Rectogesic and bleeding?

Postby owmybum » 08 Nov 2013, 07:58

I have been using the recto now for nearly two weeks... But I've noticed that I am bleeding now with any bm. I am presuming its because the recto increases the blood flow??
Any ideas?
I don't know if my pain level is increased, as I have to take painkillers for the headaches still, so not feeling too much pain down there.
Any recto users out there....... How did you get on with it?? When did the headaches disappear???

:thankyou:

Hi OMB :-)

I used nitro for more than 100 days. The headache disappeared after 14 days for me.
Yes, I guess the bleeding could be because you have more blood flow down there, but it could also be a retear. If you don't feel more pain than usual, I wouldn't worry about it, unless it continues. I hope nitro will be the magic bullet for you!
