I found after a while, well long while...The tight feeling and such has gone away, I'm more relaxed there, appear larger, umm, my BM's are still smooth but can be a little larger, sometimes my hemmies act up but no pain, I don't push, just let the stool release it self.:)

Hi there,

I'm new to this site. I think have anal stenosis but I'm not sure. My dr thinks it could be anismus too...all I know is I cannot just have a bowel movement. I have to strain and sit on the toilet for 2 hrs to get it out so that I don't feel awful. I know that's bad but I'm at a loss for what else to do. It started when I lived in dorms at university 15 years ago and we had co-Ed bathrooms. I would hold my bms not in purpose but cuz I couldn't go. That started the anal fissures and over time my 15 min bms turned into 2 hour bms. I recently had Botox for my anal fissures but not I feel worse cuz muscles are relaxed but I think maybe the canal is too tight to let it pass. I don't know...it's all so frustrating. Does this sound like anal stenosis? And what can I do?! Thank you so much for listening.
