black strap molasses + rutin

Two items I've been testing:

BLACK STRAMP MOLASSES

I had read about the benefits of black strap molasses so picked some up this week. Bonus, it was inexpensive, under $4.00 found at grocery store in baking aisle. I was going to try a health food store, and imagine I could splurge in the future for more fancy brand, but I'm thinking this product is probably all same.

It tastes not nearly as yucky as people say. Thick, heavy, kind of a soy sauce flavour. I'm taking 1.5 tsp twice a day, morning and night. I primarily got it b/c I hear it helps keep the tubes clear if ya know what I mean. One excellent bonus is it contains 15% of daily Iron needs, and lots of potassium. This is great as so many of us aren't eating much meat.

According to this link below from the People's Pharmacy it totally rids one of hemorrhoids. Yes, well that would be nice, but I'm not that sold on the product yet. LOL

RUTIN

Read about it here. Picked it up. Been taking 2 x 100 mg pill once daily. I don't think it is hurting although I have yet to see the results some people rave about. It is a bioflavonoid. Anti-inflammatory and good for veins.
