I'm now on day 8 after surgery and things have been steadily improving but feel i have gone back today :-(
Have had a fairly linear improvement day by day but today I have had 2 BMs that have been as uncomfortable for hours afterwards as day 4 / 5.
I've convinced myself there is an issue and the flap hasn't taken. Could do with someone talking me down or what to look out for - Very little blood since day 3

now 5 1/2 weeks post surgery.

Definitely not linear progress but had a meeting with the surgeon last Friday and he is happy with progress.

Taking psyllium husk each morning with lots of water and then drinking lots of water throughout the day.
Back to exercising with no pain and BM almost entirely pain free.

Not posting on the 'success stories; thread yet as i don't want to jinx things but feeling fairly positive about things

This is really good to hear! I know what you mean re jinxing it but generally you are going in the right direction which is positive. Keep us posted!
