Rye Bread

Postby Ever the Optimist » 23 Sep 2013, 16:08

Hi -

I just thought I'd share this with everyone.
I've been substituting Rye bread for wholemeal bread over the last two weeks and I have noticed a huge difference in my BMs (even though it was all going pretty well before).....My BM's have been soft as normal but I'd always struggled a little with my later in the day trip! This seems to provide the solution I've been looking for as I actually feel a proper urge and go as easily and as effortlessly as I now do in the morning!! I attribute it to the Rye bread since it is the only change I have made.
I have been suffering with more gas lately, but to be honest, I'd rather that than a difficult BM!
I'd be interested to see if it benefits anyone else!! :sunny:
I eat two slices a day & most major supermarkets now stock it.

P.S If you eat Oats for breakfast too, it seems to be a great combination!!

A real staple when I lived in Denmark. Thanks for the link, ETO.

Luv love Rye bread, it's the sour dough in it, especially toasted, I purchase a low salt and sugar free brand, after toasting it I lightly spread on hummus and apple butter( which contains no butter or sugar..just totally yum.

Lately my mornings have been rushed, morning work shift, so i can toast up two slices and take to eat on the go..Oatmeal takes a little longer to prepare the way I like it. (Eat Oatmeal for breakfast on my later shift's.

And boy does the Rye Bread make me go so smoothly.Happy Happy Butt.
